    Interesting Fact

When a scrawny jackal was out walking alone, he stumbled and fell into a puddle of paint. For a while, he splashed and played around joyously until he became exhausted and decided to return to his pack. He noted that he was now coated in a variety of hues as he walked out of the puddle: his left side was red, right side yellow, paws white, tail green, and chest blue. He began to admire himself as he turned his head from side to side, imagining that he had become more gorgeous than even the celestial looking peacock.

He walked in among his fellow jackals proudly and coquettishly, pre- preferring not to notice how they looked at him suspiciously. The jackal was so self-important that he ignored his old buddies and rapidly developed a snobbish attitude toward them. His new demeanor did not impress the jackals who had known him since he was a puppy. They inquired, What on earth are these colors you've painted yourself with? You seem to have forgotten about your lifelong pals because you're so focused on your new look. Keep in mind that you're just another jackal like the rest of us. What's going through your mind? What's with all this irrational pride?

The painted jackal continued to flaunt his attitude despite their comments. What's going on? said a jackal who knew him more than the others casually. What tricks do you have up your sleeve? Are you attempting to deceive us, or are you simply trying to arouse our jealousy in order to control us later? He came at this conclusion: As you can see, none of us are enamored with you. In reality, hardly one is paying attention to you! You'll undoubtedly expose your true colours shortly!

Instead of descending from his lofty steed, the jackal urged pompously, Have a good look at my magnificent colours! Have you ever encountered such a remarkable idol in your entire life? I've transformed into a magical flower paradise, blooming in a rainbow of hues. Kneel before my majesty and observe my grace and beauty. Because I exist, the world is a more lovely place, because I am a symbol of God's goodness. I've turned into a tablet filled with His splendour.

You lowly beasts, don't ever dare to call me a jackal again, he spat out as he turned to face the other jackals. When was the last time a jackal was as lovely as I?

What should we name you, if not a jackal? the jackals inquired as they circled him.

I'm the magnificent male peacock, gleaming like Jupiter!

Let us hear your unequalled, piercing song if you're a peacock, they shrewdly urged.

No, no, no! exclaims the speaker. I'm not good at singing!

The jackals all burst out laughing and left the delusional painted jackal isolated, laughing at his inept mind.
