Hazrat Shah Noor-ul-Haq Tapa'n Phalwarvi was the son-in-law of Pir Mujeebullah Qadri's eldest son Shah Abdul Haq's son Akbar and Khwaja Emaduddin Qalandar's son Shah Ghulam Naqshband Sajjad Phalwarvi. Shah Noor-ul-Haq Tapa'n Phalwarvi was born in 1156 AH in Phalwari Sharif. He read earlier texts from his uncle Mulla Waheed-ul-Haq Abdal. Owing to his penchant for Sufi knowledge, he pledged allegiance to his great-grandson Pir Mujeebullah Qadri who had been once engaged in Riyadh and Mujahidah. When Pir Mujeebullah saw his disciple on purpose, he also granted him caliphate. He was well received by both Khwaja Emaduddin Qalandar and Pir Mujeebullah Qadri. Due to some unfavorable circumstances, he moved from Phulwari Sharif to Mangal Talab, Patna City and established the chain of Khanqah Emadia Qalandia. From childhood, he had a taste for poetry and took the pen-name Tapa'n. He wrote poetry in both Persian and Urdu and was a Sahib-e-Diwan. Tapa'n Phlwarvi was a natural and Sufi poet. His Persian poetry suggests that his speech is full of facts and teachings of Sufism. Tapan holds a privileged position among Phulwari Sharif's prolific poets. Tapa'n was a big fan of Urfi and Jami and used to adopt their style. Tapa'n has also followed the nickname of Ali. Tapan's lively and lover-like temperament was further intensified by Sufism and Tariqah. Tapa'n Phalwari passed away on 4 Shaban-ul-Mu'azzam 1233 AH and was buried in Hazrat Lal Mian's Dargah Phalwari Sharif.
