tiir chhup-chhup ke chalāne se bhalā kyā hāsil
be-jhijhak sāmne aao to koī baat bane
surma āñkhoñ meñ lagāne se nahīñ hotā siñgār
mehñdī hāthoñ se lagāo to koī baat bane
jaam bhar-bhar ke to ham roz piyā karte haiñ
aaj nazroñ se pilāo to koī baat bane
ai 'fanā' jhuum ke aane lage kaale bādal
bazm-e-mai-kHāna sajāo to koī baat bane
