dosh chun maqsud-e-dil dar ku-e-jaanan yaftam
dosh chuuñ maqsūd-e-dil dar kū-e-jānāñ yāftam
maz.har-e-dil az rumūz-e-ishq-e-sub.hāñ yāftam
Yesterday, when I found my beloved in the lane,
I nurtured the truth of my heart with the secrets of divine love.
az rumūz-e-kuntu-kanzan har-che maḳhfī buud aañ
zāhiran andar jamāl-e-husn-e-ḳhūbañ yāftam
Whatever was hidden in the hidden treasure, I,
I nurtured it in the beauty of blossoming flowers.
man ze-jām-vahuva-ma.akum mast-o-ehosh āmdam
dar rumūz-e-nahno-aqrab sirr-e-pinhāñ yāftam
Through the cup of He is with me, we have become intoxicated and senseless, And we have discovered the secret of We are close.
har zamāñ bāñg-e-anal-haq mī-zanam pinhāñ ba-josh
niim jur.a az sharāb-e-ishq-e-rahmāñ yāftam
I am constantly chanting the voice of I am God with fervor, amidst the silence. I have consumed half a sip of the wine of God's love.
'ahmad' andar jumla a.alam niist ġhaire dar jahāñ
rāz-e-sub.hān-ast iiñ kaz ramz-e-pīrāñ yāftam
Understand this, there is no other like it in the whole world.
This symbol of the divine, I have attained through the company of the enlightened.
