Saint from Lakhnauti, named Sirajuddin, to meet Nizamuddin Aulia
At the close of 13th century, there come a Saint from Lakhnauti, named Sirajuddin, to meet Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia. He remained four years with Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia. Once a year he used to go to see his mother at Lakhnauti. The name of Sirajuddin come up for conferring of Khilafat ship, but it was not acceptable because he was not well educated.
Maulana Fakhruddin Zarradi took pity on him and determined to make him an erudite scholar in Islamic learning and within a period of Six months he did it. Now he presented him to Mehboob- i-iahi, who conferred upon him the title of Aina-i- Hindi (mirror of India) before making him khalifa.
