Hazrat Sultan Bahu was the disciple and khalifa of Sayyad Abdurrhman Dehlavi, who comes in the spiritual hierarchy of Abdul Qadir Jilani, the founder of the Qadri order. Bahu learnt Vedantic views from the Qadri teacher, whose system already accepted Vedantic influence.
