Sheikh Zainuddin introduced a special dress for the Rishis, the Rishi-Jama. Zainuddin had seen the dress of the Hajis in Macca, where, because of his spiritual powers, he used to attend the Friday prayers. In Wahab's Futuhat-e-Kubrawiya the dress is incidentally described in the life of sheikh Shamsuddin, one of the disciples of Zainuddin as-
‘A variegated woollen cloak, with a black and white pattern worked into it.’
