ai dar rah-e-bandagist yaksan ki dameh
ai dar rah-e-bandagīst yaksāñ ki dameh
dar har do-jahāñ ḳhidmat-e-dargāh-e-tū beh
nakbat tū sitānī-o-sa'ādat tū dehī
yārab tū ba-fazl-e-ḳhvesh ba-sitān-o-ba-deh
In the path of Thy worship the high and the low are as one, as service at Thy threshold is better than this world and the next. O! God in Thy greatness Thou art one who receives the contempt of men, yet givest him good fortune, with Thy Bounteous Excellence-take our sins and give us bliss.
