zahe qismat pasand-e-KHatir-e-mushkil pasand aaya
zahe qismat pasand-e-ḳhātir-e-mushkil pasand aayā
azal se chhāñT kar laa.e the ham jo dil pasand aayā
nikal kar aañkh se aañsū ruke haiñ nok-e-mizhgāñ par
ki laḌkoñ ko tamāshā-e-lab-e-sāhil pasand aayā
huī hai teġh kund us kī ba-qaul-e-hazrat-e-'ġhālib'
tamāshā-e-ba-ḳhūñ ġhaltīdan-e-bismil pasand aayā
zahe qismat pasand-e-KHatir-e-mushkil pasand aaya

nikal kar aankh se aansu ruke hain nok-e-mizhgan par
ki laDkon ko tamasha-e-lab-e-sahil pasand aaya
hui hai tegh kund us ki ba-qaul-e-hazrat-e-'ghaalib'
tamasha-e-ba-KHun ghaltidan-e-bismil pasand aaya
