husn-e-ulfat agar ayaañ hojāye
mahshar-e-ārzū jahāñ hojāye
sail-e-ashk apnā gar ravāñ hojāye
ġharq bahr-e-alam ho jahāñ hojāye
us kī shān-e-hijāb dekho to
apne jalvoñ meñ jo nihāñ hojāye
us se pūchhe koī ḳhushī us kī
tere ġham kā jo rāz-dāñ hojāye
hai ye takmīl-e-ulfat ai haadī
dāman ziist dhajjiyāñ hojāye

gharq bahr-e-alam ho jahan hojaye

daman zist dhajjiyan hojaye
