be-ḳhvāb chāñdnī bhī rahī terī yaad meñ
duniyā meñ rah ke daur zamāne se ho ga.e
har shakl ajnabī sī lagī terī yaad meñ
dāman guloñ ne chaak kiye tere naam par
shabnam bhī ashk-bār rahī terī yaad meñ
vīrāniyoñ ke daur meñ phūloñ ke silsile
ye bhī 'ḳhalish' ne ḳhuub kahī terī yaad meñ
