fareb deve hai nādāñ ko zohd suuñ zāhid
ḳhudā kī raah meñ ye ġhol rahnumā dekho
ba-sahl-e-ashk meñ bahtā hai ḳhasta-dil merā
shikasta-kushī-o-dariyā-e-be-karāñ dekho
fareb dewe hai nadan ko zohd sun zahid
KHuda ki rah mein ye ghol rahnuma dekho
ba-sahl-e-ashk mein bahta hai KHasta-dil mera
shikasta-kushi-o-dariya-e-be-karan dekho
