sañg-e-ġhairat se mirā shīsha-e-dil chuur huā
ek to aage hī thā husn par apne nāzāñ
ā.īna dekh ke vo aur bhī maġhrūr huā
sub.h hote hī huā mujh se judā vo mah-rū
roz goyā mire haq meñ shab-e-dījūr huā
teġh mat khīñch ki ek jumbish-e-abrū bas hai
gar mirā qatl hī zālim tujhe manzūr huā
az-pa.e-dāġh-e-dil-e-bāda-parastāñ 'bedār'
pumba-e-shīsha-e-mai marham-e-kāfūr huā
