yād-e-sohbat bhī ḳhuub sohbat hai
pūchhte ho kyā tum ki maut hai kyā
vo bhī ik ġham-zada kī hasrat hai
vo ga.e hashr jo uThāte the
vo nahīñ haiñ to kyuuñ qayāmat hai
ai fusūñ gar tirā kamāl nahīñ
dil kā denā hamārī 'ādat hai
