sahte sahte ġham mohabbat ke ye hālat ho ga.ī
hañs ke bolā jo koī us se mohabbat ho ga.ī
ḳhush raho duniyā meñ tum ham to isī meñ shaad haiñ
tum se mil kar ro liye halkī tabī.at ho ga.ī
shukr kiije yā shikāyat us nigāh-e-nāz kī
jo ināyat ban ke aa.ī aur qayāmat ho ga.ī
sahte sahte gham mohabbat ke ye haalat ho gai

tum se mil kar ro liye halki tabiat ho gai
shukr kije ya shikayat us nigah-e-naz ki
