zindagānī sharāb ho jaa.e
tū pilā.e jo mast nazroñ se
mai-kashī lā-javāb ho jaa.e
dekh le shaiḳh gar tirī āñkheñ
pārsā.ī ḳharāb ho jaa.e
tum agar mere sāth-sāth chalo
zindagī kāmyāb ho jaa.e
jaam do tum jo apne hāthoñ se
ham ko piinā savāb ho jaa.e
ruuTh jaa.eñ agar vo ham se 'fanā'
marnā jiinā 'azāb ho jaa.e
