haram ke gosha-e-kHalvat se tābdār aa.e
kahāñ kahāñ tujhe ahl-e-junūñ pukār aa.e
'arūs-e-dahr sunā hai ki chand dīvāne
lahū ke 'itr se gesū tere sañvār aa.e
hayāt-e-kHizr bhī un ke 'ivaz nahīñ manzūr
vo chand roz jo zindāñ meñ ham guzār aa.e
qafas meñ rah ke bhī dil se na jā sakī 'kausar'
ye aarzū ki chaman meñ kabhī bahār aa.e
