MORE BYShah Akbar Danapuri

jo bane ā.īna vo terā tamāshā dekhe

apnī sūrat meñ tere husn jalva dekhe

haaye kis tarah tujhe āshiq-e-shaidā dekhe

terā saaya bhī nahīñ hai keh jo saaya dekhe

terī shāneñ haiñ hazāroñ tere jalve lākhoñ

do āñkheñ hoñ mili jis ko vo kyā-kyā dekhe

qais ko hosh nahīñ lab pe anā lailā hai

apne dīvāne ko aa kar zarā lailā dekhe

dekhne vaale tere dekhte haiñ yuuñ tujh ko

jaise dariyā taraf pyaas maarā dekhe

kyā samajh rakhā hai allāh ko ne 'akbar'

āñkheñ khole hue baiThā hai ki jalva dekhe

jo bane aaina wo tera tamasha dekhe

apni surat mein tere husn ka jalwa dekhe

haye kis tarah tujhe aashiq-e-shaida dekhe

tera saya bhi nahin hai keh jo saya dekhe

teri shanen hain hazaron tere jalwe lakhon

do hi aankhen hon mili jis ko wo kya-kya dekhe

qais ko hosh nahin lab pe ana laila hai

apne diwane ko aa kar zara laila dekhe

dekhne wale tere dekhte hain yun tujh ko

jaise dariya ki taraf pyas ka mara dekhe

kya samajh rakha hai allah ko tu ne 'akbar'

aankhen khole hue baiTha hai ki jalwa dekhe
