paiġhām-e-shāh pinhāñ mar vazīr rā
How the king sent messages in secret to the vizier.
darmiyān-e-shāh-o-ū paiġhām-hā
shaah rā pinhāñ bado ārām-hā
Messages (passed) between the king and him:
the king had words of comfort from him in secret.
pesh-e-ū ba-navish shah ka.e muqbilam
vaqt aamad zuud fāriġh kun dilam
The king wrote to him, saying, “O my fortunate one,
the time is come: quickly set my mind at ease.”
guft iiñ ki andar aañ kāram shahā
ki-afkanam dar dīn-e-'īsā fitna-hā
He replied: “Behold, O king, I am preparing
to cast disorders into the religion of Jesus.”

guft in ki andar aan karam shaha
ki-afkanam dar din-e-'isa fitna-ha
He replied: “Behold, O king, I am preparing
to cast disorders into the religion of Jesus.”
