jab jam-e-haqiqat hum ko apne hadi se irshad hua
jab jaame haqīqat ham ko apne haadī se irshād huā
sab qaid-e-jahāñ se chhūT gaye har fikr se dil āzād huā
aa chaar taraf se yaksū ho dil ishq setī ābād huā
sohbat se apne yaar kī ai 'dildār' merā dil shaad huā

aa chaar taraf se yaksu ho dil ishq seti aabaad hua
sohbat se apne yar ki ai 'dildar' mera dil shad hua
