ze chashm-e-yār jaadū āfrīdand
qazā az ġhamza-e-ū āfrīdand
ze ḳhāl-e-hindūvash but-ḳhāna kardand
haram az tāq-e-abrū āfrīdand
tah-e-har-mū-e-ū chīdand daame
balā az pech-e-gesū āfrīdand
gul-e-dīgar azū ḳhush-tar na-dīdand
ze ruḳh rañg-o-ze tan bū āfrīdand
ze husn-e-ahmad-o-ishq-e-jamālash
