ai nek na karda-o-badī-hā karda
vāñgāh ba-lutf-e-haq tavallā karda
bar 'afv makun takiya ki hargiz na buvad
nā karda chuuñ karda karda chuuñ nā karda
O! thou who hast never done a virtuous deed, but hast always been sinful, and hast always relied on God's mercy (Heed what I say) do not rely on Heaven's forgiveness, for what has been done cannot be taken as not done and what has not been done can never be taken as done.
