asrār-e-azal rā na tū daanī va na man
viiñ harf-e-muamma na na ḳhvānī va na man
hast az pas-e-parda-e-guftagū-e-man-o-tū
chuuñ parda bar uftad na tū maanī va na man
There was the Door to which I found no Key:
There is the Veil through which I could not see:
Some little talk awhile of ME and THEE
There was-and then no more of THEE and ME.
