chun mi na dehad ajal-e-aman ai saqi
chuuñ mī na dehad ajal-e-amāñ ai saaqī
durda qadah-e-sharāb haañ ai saaqī
ġham kHurdan-e-behūda na kār-e-dil maast
ba-īñ do seh roza dar jahāñ ai saaqī
And as the Cook crew, those who stood before
The Tavern shouted-Open then the door!
You know how little while we have to stay,
And, once departed, may return no more.
