gar gauhar-e-tā.atat na suftam hargiz
var gard-e-gunah ze-ruḳh na raftam hargiz
nau-mīd-e-nayam ze-bārgāh-e-kar-mat
ziirā ki yake rā do na guftam hargiz
In the path of Thy worship the high and the low are as one, as service at Thy threshold is better than this world and the next. O! God in Thy greatness Thou art one who receives the contempt of men, yet givest him good fortune, with Thy Bounteous Excellence-take our sins and give us bliss.
