juz naqsh-e-tu dar nazar na-yayad ma ra
juz naqsh-e-tū dar nazar na-yāyad mā rā
juz kū-e-tū rahguzar na-yāyad mā rā
ḳhush-āmda ḳhvāb jumla rā dar diida
haqqā ki ba-chashm dar na-yāyad mā rā
Save thy picture, naught cometh into the vision of our
Save Thy street, other cometh not the path of ours.
Though to all, sweet cometh sleep, in thy time,
O God! (I swear) that it (sleep) cometh not into the eye of ours.
