KHwahi ki pasandida-e-anam shawi
ḳhvāhī ki pasandīda-e-anām shavī
maqbūl-o-qubūl-e-ḳhāsa-o-’ām shavī
andar pa.e momin-o-yahūd-o-tarasā
bad-go۔e ma-bāsh tā niko naam shavī
Dost thou desire to be liked by the world, to be accepted and agreeably received by the high and the low for the sake of being a faithful Muslim or a Jew or a Fire worshipper, do not speak evil and you will earn a good reputation.
