KHwahi za firaq dar fughan dar mara
ḳhvāhī za firāq dar fuġhāñ daar marā
ḳhvāhī za visāl shādmāñ daar marā
man bā tū na goyam ki chasāñ daar marā
zānsāñ ki dilat ḳhvāst chunāñ daar marā
Thou hoped that I would lament thy separation, and I should exhibit (tumultuous) joy in thy company; I shall not tell thee how to treat me, treat me as thou wouldst one who had sought thy heart.
