zinhaar kanun ki mi tawani bari
zinhār kanūñ ki mī tavānī baarī
bū-dār za ḳhātir ’azīze baarī
kiiñ mamlikat husn na-mānad jāved
az dast tū ham barūñ ravad yak-bāzī
Beware now, when thou canst for one remove the burden from thy dear mind; for this kingdom of beauty will not last for ever, and once it (beauty) will go out of thy hands as well.
