ai dil mai-o-ma’shuq ma-kun dar baghi
ai dil mai-o-mā’shūq ma-kun dar bāġhī
sālūs rihā kun-o-ma-kun zrrāqī
gar pairau ahmadī ḳhur mī jām-e-sharāb
vaañ hauz ki murtazāsh bāshad saaqī
O! my heart, do not entertain (any longer) wine and the beloved in a garden, give up hypocrisy and be not deceitful, if thou art following the path of the Prophet-thou wilt drink wine from the pool (in Paradise) of which Murtaza (Hazrat Ali) be the Saqi.

wan hauz ki murtazash bashad saqi
