yak chand ba-kudki ba-ustad shudem
yak chand ba-kūdkī ba-ustād shudem
yak chand ba-ustādī-e-ḳhud shaad shudem
pāyān-e-sukHan shino ki mā rā che rasīd
az ḳhaak bar āmdem-o-barbād shudem
In childhood for sometimes we sat at the feet of our teacher, then for some times we were pleased to give instructions to others; at the end listen to what we got, we came from the dust and have been destroyed again.
