nekī-o-badī ki dar nihād bashar ast
shādī-o-ġhamī ki dar qazā-o-qadar ast
bā-charkH ma-kun havāla kandar rah-e-'aql
charḳh az tū hazār baar bechāra tar ast
For evil and good that lie, before mankind, joy and sorrow that are in his destiny, blame not the skies, for the revolving skies (Fate) are a thousand fold more helpless than thee in the path of wisdom.
