darinda chu tarkib tabae’ aarast
dārinda chu tarkīb tabāe’ ārāst
az bahr che uu figandash andar kam-o-kāst
gar nek aamad shikastan az bahr che buvad
dar nek na-yāmad iiñ suvar-e-'aib karāst
It is providence which has planned this scheme (of the mind of man), why does it give to one more (of virtue) and to another less; if virtue prevails why is it broken (destroyed) and if virtue is not present, who is to be blamed.
