az ātish-e-mā duud kujā buud īñ-jā
vaz māya-e-mā suud kujā buud īñ-jā
aañ kas ki marā naam ḳharābātī kard
dar asl ḳharābāt kujā buud īñ-jā
From the flames of my body where does the smoke arise, where is the profit out of all my substance; he who named me as one addicted to the tavern, did he find where the (lowly) tavern (folly) was in reality.

aan kas ki mara nam KHarabaati kard
