jāme-o-mai-o-sāqī bar lab-e-kisht
iiñ jumla murā vahm turā gashta bahisht
ma-shino suḳhan bahisht-o-dozakH az kas
ki raft ba-dozakH-o-ki aamad za bahisht
The wine and the wine cup, and the Saqi at the edge of the tillage, all these are to me and to thee Heaven itself. Do not listen to them who talk of Heaven and Hell, for who has gone to Heaven or Hell and has returned therefrom?
