mī nosh ki 'umr-e-jāvedānī iiñ ast
ḳhud ḳhāsiyat az daur-e-javānī iiñ ast
hañgām-e-kul-o-mulast-o-yārāñ sarmast
ḳhush-bāsh dame ki zindagānī iiñ ast
Drink wine for therein is eternal life, and the same is the characteristic of the age of youth itself; this is the season of flowers and wine and the convivial friends, be joyful for the while as this is the life.
