na lā.iq-e-masjidam na dar ḳhurd-e-kunisht
iizid dānad gil marā az che sarisht
chuuñ kāfir-e-darvesham-o-chūñ qahba-e-zisht
na dīn-o-na duniyā-o-na ummīd-e-bahisht
I am fit neither for the mosque nor for the temple, Heaven only knows of what clay was I created; like infidel and mendicant that I am and miserably low as a courtesan. I have no earthly or religious hopes, or of paradise.
