imroz ki naubat-e-javānī man ast
mī nosham az āñ-ki kāmrānī man ast
'aish ma-kuned za āñ-ki talḳhast ḳhush ast
talḳhast az āñ-ki zindagānī man ast
As today to me and to you is the season of youth, I drink, as from wine comes my success: do not point to it as a fault that it is bitter, its bitterness is that which gives me my life.
