az jumla-e-raftagan in rah daraaz
az jumla-e-raftagāñ iiñ raah darāz
baaz āmada kū ki be-mā goyad raaz
zinhār darīñ sarā che az rū-e-majāz
chīze na-guzārī ki namī aa.ī baaz
Of all those that have travelled on the longest way (to death), not one hath returned to tell me the secrets that lie hid on the other side of the veil; so from this world when thou goest do not leave anything (unenjoyed) for thou shalt never return.
