dani ki charast tauba na-kardan-e-man
daanī ki charāst tauba nā-kardan-e-man
za burā ki harām niist mī-kHurdan-e-man
bū ahl-e-majāz ast bittahqīq harām
mī-kHurdan-e-ahl-e-rāz dar gardan-e-man
Dost thou knoweth what reason is there for me for not forswearing wine, it is because wine drinking is not to me forbidden to the not knowing ones truly is wine forbidden, but those who knoweth secrets, for them the wine (Eternal) is not forbidden and I take the responsibility on my neck.
