bardar pyala-o-subu dil-ju
bardār pyāla-o-subū dil-jū
bar giir ba-gard sabza-zār-o-lab-jū
kiiñ charḳh base qad-e-butāñ mah-rū
sad baar pyāla kard-o-sad baar subū
O! joy of my heart (now) bear the flagon and the cup, onto the green herbage and the flowing stream for this wheel from the stature of many moon faced idols, has a hundred times fashioned a wine cup and a hundred times a wine flask.
