pande dehmat agar ba-man daarī gosh
az bahr-e-ḳhudā jāma-e-tazvīr ma-posh
'uqbā hama roza ast duniyā yak dam
az bahr-e-dame mulk-e-abad rā ma-farosh
Good advice, unto thee I give, if thou lend thy ear to me, for the sake of the Almighty, do not put on the garment of hypocrisy; for the life to the other world is eternal, while this world is only for a breath, do not sell the eternal Kingdom (life) for a fleeting breath.
