duniya jise kahte hain wo hai naqsh-e-bar-ab
duniyā jise kahte haiñ vo hai naqsh-e-bar-āb
hai is meñ hayāt apnī ham-shakl-e-hubāb
dhokā khā jaate haiñ yahāñ par aksar
'ālī' dekho ye saarā 'ālam hai sarāb
duniya jise kahte hain wo hai naqsh-e-bar-ab
hai is mein hayat apni ham-shakl-e-hubab
dhoka kha jate hain yahan par aksar
'ali' dekho ye sara 'alam hai sarab
