saaqī dil-e-man za dast agar ḳhvāhad raft
bahr ast kujā za ḳhud ba-dar ḳhvāhad raft
suufī ki chū zarf-e-tañg az ḳhvesh pur ast
yak jur'a agar dehī basar ḳhvāhad raft
If my mind goes out of my where it will flow out of itself a little it will give satisfaction, little in his narrow alms bowl. control. it is an ocean (I do not know) and if thou givest of thy beauty) only like the Sufi's satisfaction with ever so little in his narrow alms bowl.
