shah ast husain wa baadshah ast husain
shaah ast husain va bādshāh ast husain
diin ast husain o dīn-e-panāh ast husain
sar dādan-o-na-dād dast dar dast-e-yazīd
vallāh ke bīna-e-lā-ilāh ast husain
Husain is the emperor, Husain is the master,
Husain is also the faith, Husain is the protector of faith too,
(Husain) gave his head, but didn't give his hand in the hand of Yazid,
The truth and reality is that the essence and the foundation of La Ilaaha (There is no god but Allah) is also Hussain.
