Nizamuddin Auliya to Amir Khusrau: I am weary of everyone, even myself, but never of you

Saifuddin lived adjacent to a man with a gift for prophecy. He took one look at baby Abul Hassan and said: “You have brought someone who will be two steps ahead of the poet Khaqani.”
Abul Hassan would grow up to be known as Amir Khusrau — the master poet and musician; the confidante of sultans; and oddly enough the favourite disciple of Nizamuddin — the dervish who despised politics, who shunned sultans.
