एक मुहब्बत करने वाला सूफ़ी महबूब की रज़ा को भी और उस की नाराज़गी को भी ख़ुशी से क़ुबूल करता है, क्योंकि वो दोनों को एक ख़ास ता'ल्लुक़ की अलामत समझता है। इंसान को चाहिए कि हर हाल में सब्र से काम ले, क्योंकि जो कुछ भी है, वो सब हक़ीक़ी महबूब यानी अल्लाह की तरफ़ से है।

दरवेश वो है, जो अपने नफ़्स-ए-अम्मारा की हर तर्ग़ीब के ख़िलाफ़ अमल करे।
