husūl-e-faqr gar chāhe to chhoḌ asbāb-e-duniyā ko
lagā de aag yaksar bistar-e-sanjāb-o-dībā ko
rakhe haiñ haq-parastāñ tark-e-jam.iyyat meñ jam.iyyat
mayassar hove ye daulat kahāñ arbāb-e-duniyā ko
fareb-e-rañg-o-bū-e-dahr mat khā mard-e-āqil ho
samajh ātish-kada is gulshan-e-shādāb-e-duniyā ko
siyah-mast-e-mai-e-tahqīq ho gar pāk-tīnat hai
najis mat jaam kar tū bhar ke bas ḳhūnāb-e-duniyā ko
ye hai 'bedār' zahr-ālūda maar is se hazar karnā
na lenā haath meñ tū gesū-e-pur-tāb-e-duniyā ko
