ii.d kā chāñd hai tū ii.d mubārak ho tujhe
mujh duā-go se ye kah diid mubārak ho tujhe
nazr laayā huuñ ye dil uTh ke baġhal-gīr ho mil
ii.d meñ diid kī fahmīd mubārak ho tujhe
vaah kyā sāz-e-tarab se hai tirī mahfil garm
aish-o-ishrat kī ye tamhīd mubārak ho tujhe
mohtasib maiñ to huuñ ik nargis-e-maḳhmūr kā mast
kar tū mai-ḳhvāroñ pe tahdīd mubārak ho tujhe
zāhidā rāh-e-haqīqat se nahīñ tujh ko ilm
amal-e-ḳhair bataqlīd mubārak ho tujhe
kaho mansūr se haq kah ke tū suulī pe chaḌhā
samra-e-shajr-e-tauhīd mubārak ho tujhe
tū to āzād 'qalandar' hai mashā.iḳh meñ turāb
shān-e-tajrīd-o-tafrīdi mubārak ho tujhe

kar tu mai-KHwaron pe tahdid mubarak ho tujhe
zahida rah-e-haqiqat se nahin tujh ko ilm
amal-e-KHair bataqlid mubarak ho tujhe
kaho mansur se haq kah ke tu suli pe chaDha
samra-e-shajr-e-tauhid mubarak ho tujhe
