jis dil mein tera ghar na ho wo dil KHarab hai
jis dil meñ tirā ghar na ho vo dil ḳharāb hai
jo dil hai mahv-e-yād vahī kāmyāb hai
har shai meñ go hai us kī tajallī ayaañ magar
ye ġhāyat-e-zuhūr ḳhud us kā hijāb hai
hai misl-e-āftāb ayaañ bhī nihāñ bhī hai
aariz par tere fart-e-tajallī naqāb hai
ham meñ vo jalva-gar hai magar dekheñ kis tarah
apnā vajūd hī to sarāsar hijāb hai
